M2 Freezer doors

About the model

Proven: only Dynaco M2 Freezer doors operate inside a freezer chamber. M2 Freezer doors are specially designed for installation inside refrigerated and freezer chambers, in low-temperature areas down to -30°C.

Unique technologies

Energy-efficiency chart

No icing problems

Dynaco M2 Freezer doors are equipped with a heating system for the guides, motor and control unit. It prevents icing and allows the doors to be installed inside the freezer chamber on the "cold side". This is important when used together with a sliding door. The standard Anti-Frost option is available. Every 20 minutes, the freezer doors automatically perform an opening and closing cycle to shake off accumulated ice.

Sealing

Cold-room doors completely eliminate the drawbacks of common strip curtains. The PVC curtain is secured in the side guides, leaving no gaps or openings. The airtight doors help prevent icing problems. This significantly reduces freezer operating costs.

Safety for vehicles and pedestrians

Cold-room doors provide exceptional operational safety. They are often used in freezer rooms at supermarkets or shopping centres, so the doors can be supplied in any colour.

Specifications

Wind load

Up to 300 Pa (wind speed up to 70 km/h).

Service life

1,000,000 — 3,500,000 (based on operating experience in the Russian Federation).

Operating principle

Push-Pull — the motor pulls the curtain upward when the door opens and pushes it downward when the door closes.

Applications

Special doors for cold and freezer rooms. Used indoors - retail, warehouse and food production.

Curtain reinsertion unit

If accidentally hit by a vehicle, the curtain normally leaves the guides. The unit is designed to reinsert the door curtain into the guides during the next closing cycle. This occurs automatically or after a close command from any control device.

Door curtain

Made of reinforced PVC (PVC 900 g/m²). Colours (RAL): yellow (1003), grey (7035), blue (5002), red (3000), green (6005), orange (2004), white (9010).

Special options (included as standard)

Heating for the side guides, motor and lintel seal. A thermal break between the door frame and the wall. Protective decorative covers for the motor, belt and side guides.

Motor

IP 65, without brake, 4-pole, controlled by a frequency converter. Power: 1.5 kW.

Limit switches

The door position is continuously monitored by an encoder (digital non-contact absolute position sensor).

Control unit (Compact)

Steel, painted, IP 65. As standard, it includes a frequency converter, magnetic thermal switch, main safety switch, 24 V transformer, programmable closing timer, cycle counter, photocell relay, WDD radio receiver, opening button and emergency stop button. The length of the electrical cables connecting the standard door components allows the control unit to be installed approximately 1,200 mm above the floor and 1,000 mm from the door on the motor side.

Photocells (included as standard)

Detect the presence of a pedestrian or vehicle in the door area. They open and remain open while the object is in the door area.

Wireless safety edge (standard equipment)

Dynaco WDD (Patent) consists of a sensing element and radio transmitter installed in the lower seal of the door curtain. The radio receiver is installed in the control unit. A radio signal is transmitted only if the door touches an obstacle while closing. Upon receiving the signal, the control unit immediately opens the door. This operating mode extends lithium-battery life because the transmitter remains inactive most of the time (5 years in standby mode or 100,000 activations). WDD eliminates the need for an unreliable coiled cable or pneumatic sensors.

Power supply

Single-phase 220 V, frequency 50 Hz.
