M2 Compact doors

About the model

Dynaco M2 Compact doors are installed indoors at industrial facilities of all types, including warehouses, workshop and unloading areas, as well as supermarkets and distribution centres. M2 Compact doors prevent draughts and the ingress of moisture, dust, dirt and insects. They help maintain the required temperature and indoor climate and protect products and packaging.

Unique technologies

Energy-efficiency chart

For openings with extremely high traffic intensity

The M2 Compact model is rated for more than 6,000 cycles per day. A Moscow Metro turnstile opens approximately this many times during the morning hours. Opening speed - up to 2.4 m/s (depending on curtain size), closing speed - 1.2 m/s.

Exceptional sealing

The Dynaco M2 Compact curtain fits tightly against the side guides, providing exceptional airtightness. The PUSH-PULL mechanism closes the opening quickly even under high wind loads. Stainless-steel door construction is available for food facilities.

Impact resistant

The PVC curtain contains no rigid or hard elements. The high-speed doors operate correctly even if the opening geometry changes. If accidentally hit by a vehicle, they do not deform and automatically reinsert themselves into the guides.

Specifications

Wind load

For the maximum size — up to 450 Pa (wind speed up to 90 km/h); for doors up to W 4,500 x H 5,500 mm — up to 700 Pa (wind speed up to 110 km/h).

Service life

1,000,000 — 3,500,000 (based on operating experience in the Russian Federation).

Operating principle

Push-Pull — the motor pulls the curtain upward when the door opens and pushes it downward when the door closes.

Applications

Dynaco's most popular door model meets most indoor requirements (retail, warehouse and industrial applications).

Curtain reinsertion unit

If accidentally hit by a vehicle, the curtain normally leaves the guides. The unit is designed to reinsert the door curtain into the guides during the next closing cycle. This occurs automatically or after a close command from any control device.

Door curtain

Made of reinforced PVC (PVC 900 g/m²). Colours (RAL): yellow (1003), grey (7035), blue (5002), red (3000), green (6005), orange (2004), white (9010).

Motor

IP 65, brakeless, 4-pole, frequency-converter controlled. Power: 0.75 kW for door area up to 14 m², 1.5 kW for area above 14 m².

Limit switches

The door position is continuously monitored by an encoder (digital non-contact absolute position sensor).

Control unit (Compact)

Steel, painted, IP 65. As standard, it includes a frequency converter, magnetic thermal switch, main safety switch, 24 V transformer, programmable closing timer, cycle counter, photocell relay, WDD radio receiver, opening button and emergency stop button. The length of the electrical cables connecting the standard door components allows the control unit to be installed approximately 1,200 mm above the floor and 1,000 mm from the door on the motor side.

Photocells (included as standard)

Detect the presence of a pedestrian or vehicle in the door area. The doors will open and remain open while the object is in this area.

Wireless safety edge (standard equipment)

Dynaco WDD (Patent) consists of a sensitive element and radio transmitter installed in the lower curtain seal. The radio receiver is installed in the control unit. A radio signal is transmitted only if the door touches an obstacle while closing. Upon receiving the signal, the control unit immediately opens the door. This operating mode provides long lithium-battery life because the transmitter remains inactive most of the time (5 years in standby mode or 100,000 activations). WDD eliminates the need for unreliable spiral cables or pneumatic sensors.

Power supply

Single-phase 220 V, frequency 50 Hz.
