At Seafood Expo Russia 2026 in St Petersburg, Dynaco presented two high-speed door models for the seafood industry: the D-311 for indoor areas and the M2 Freezer for cold rooms and freezers.
The exhibition took place at Expoforum from 16 to 18 September. It brought together fish producers and processors, aquaculture businesses, equipment suppliers, and professionals in storage, transport and logistics.
This year, Seafood Expo Russia welcomed 20,673 professionals from 82 Russian regions and 84 foreign countries. A total of 339 companies and organisations from 38 Russian regions and 11 countries exhibited. The conference programme covered technological development, international cooperation, exports and maintaining an unbroken cold chain.
Two models for different operating conditions
The Dynaco D-311 is designed for indoor installation and intensive use. In production and warehouse areas, it can quickly separate spaces while allowing easy movement between them. If accidentally hit, the curtain releases from its side guides and automatically reinserts itself.
The Dynaco M2 Freezer is designed for cold rooms and freezers. It operates at temperatures down to −35 °C and opens at speeds of up to 2.4 m/s.
Choosing doors for seafood processing facilities
Production areas, warehouses and freezers have different operating conditions. When selecting a door for each area, the key considerations are:
- Opening and closing speed. The less time the opening remains exposed, the lower the heat loss and air exchange between zones.
- Operating frequency. Doors need to handle frequent opening and closing cycles throughout the shift.
- Temperature. Cold rooms and freezers require a model rated for their operating temperature.
- A self-reinserting curtain. Automatic reinsertion into the guides helps reduce downtime after accidental impacts.
At the exhibition, seafood industry professionals were able to see Dynaco doors in operation and discuss how the D-311 and M2 Freezer could be used at their facilities, from production areas to freezer rooms.
