DYNACO doors in a railway tunnel
Project objectives
A railway tunnel in Switzerland provides a rail link through the Alps. The tunnel is 57.1 km long, or 153.4 km including service and pedestrian passages. A train can travel through the tunnel from Zurich to Milan in just over two hours (four hours by plane), at speeds of up to 250 km/h.⠀⠀
The Gotthard railway tunnel differs from all other similar projects in the world, particularly in its tunnel logistics and operational support systems.⠀
