DYNACO doors on a cruise liner

Project objectives
Today we'll share a very interesting case - DYNACO doors on a cruise ferry. ⠀

The Stena Line ferry is designed to carry 1,700 people and operates on the Karlskrona (Sweden) - Gdynia (Poland) route.⠀

WHY DYNACO⠀

At a port, continuous ferry receiving and unloading operations are essential. All work must be completed as quickly as possible while meeting all international standards and safety requirements.⠀

Dynaco M2 All Weather doors were therefore selected for installation on the ferry. ⠀

This model is designed for extreme conditions. M2 doors are installed in locations with extremely high wind loads - up to 160 km/h!

Designed for operation in extreme conditions

The PVC curtain is securely held in the side guides. As a result, M2 All Weather doors are highly resistant to wind loads and more robust than the other doors in this series. ⠀

The curtain is lowered by the motor rather than by its own weight. The doors remain stable even in hurricane-force winds. No Dynaco competitor offers an equivalent design.⠀

High-speed doors are an investment that will definitely pay off

DYNACO doors open at 2.4 m/s and close at 1.2 m/s even under high wind loads (up to 160 km/h).⠀

Exceptional sealing⠀

Thanks to their excellent sealing, DYNACO high-speed doors withstand wind loads up to Class 5 under European standard EN 12424.⠀

Safe for vehicles and pedestrians⠀

The DYNACO door design contains no rigid or heavy elements. Even if the curtain descends onto a vehicle or pedestrian, it will not cause harm and will automatically start moving upward.
