When hit, the doors do not break: the curtain leaves the guides and reinserts itself during the next cycle. This is a feature of all DYNACO doors.

The doors are sealed around the entire perimeter, while a special sealing pocket at the bottom of the curtain compensates for uneven floors. This prevents dust and insects from entering when the doors are closed.
